I have a 1988 firebird that I replaced the wiper motor on, and it seems to keep blowing a fuse. I have unhooked the wiper motor and the fuse is still blowing when I try to sttart the car. Can anyone tell me if there is anything else on this circuit besides the wiper?

Hi lschmitt, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

The washer motor-but since you're disconnecting the wiper motor it takes out the washer motor circuit too!

I have unhooked the wiper motor and the fuse is still blowing when i try to sttart the car-The short circuit/overload is in the wiper switch if its blowing the fuse when the wiper motor is disconnected if not the white wire before it enters the wiper switch is shorted to ground

I have disconnected the wiper motor and the switch and it is still blowing the fuse. Do you know of any other accessory or drain on this fuse? Any other suggestions? Thanks so much!

Unplug the wiper/motor washer module and see what happens

On upper center of firewall in engine compartment.
