INSTALLATION:
Install the hub/bearing assembly over the halfshaft splines. Be sure the splines engage smoothly.
Apply a light coating of grease to the steering knuckle bore.
Slide the hub assembly onto the halfshaft as far as possible. If the hub will not bottom out on the halfshaft, install the hub mounting bolts and use the halfshaft nut to draw the hub onto the halfshaft.
Once the hub is flush with the steering knuckle, remove the mounting bolts and install the dust shield.
Install or connect the following:
Install the mounting bolts. Torque the bolts to 70 ft. lbs. (95 Nm).
Place the transaxle in N.
Install or connect the following:
ABS front wheel speed sensor connector, and clip to the dust shield
Brake rotor
Caliper.
Torque the halfshaft nut to 118 ft. lbs. (160 Nm) on models except Park Avenue.
Install the front wheels. Torque the lug nuts to 100 ft. lbs. (140 Nm).
Road test the vehicle.
