I have a 2000 Pontiac Bonneville that will start up, run well for 7-10 minutes then stall out and not start back up. If I leave it alone for 35-50 minutes it wil start again but if I try to crank it right away it will barely run and stall again and then just dry crank without starting. Battery dies, etc. There is no check engine light and I have already tried changing out the fuel filter. Seems to run fine while in motion until failure.

When this happens, have you checked to see if you are getting spark and fuel to the engine? One is most likely missing and I need to know which one.

Let me know.

Is the fuel pressure within spec? Will it start with starting fluid?
