My 1995 Pontiac Bonneville SE with a 3.8 non turbo engine with 140000 miles on it is starting to show it's age. Ive warded off the New York Salt for two years and the body is in great shape. I Just had the subframe replaced but now im having a bigger problem. The car makes a groaning noise when I turn to the right. My friend suggested that it is a ball joint on the right side. My question is... What may cause this and how can this be fixed

I would hesitate on giving advice at this point, there are several components that could be making that noise, ball joint, wheel bearing, strut or strut plate, cv joint, you really need two people checking the car while turning the hweels back and forth to isolate the problem, if you do find it and need help replacing a part let us know
