My car will go as far as maybe 5-7 miles then cut off and start back up after about 5 minutes it is not saying it's overheated it's reading 200 on the dash but I cant seem to figure out what wrong the gas meter will not read right and if I let it get to a qarter of a tank my car will completely shut off when I bought it it was used and they welded duals on the car could that be the problem?

Next time it dies and wont start back up.
Check for spark, and check for fuel

Check the oil pressure gauge I had a car run til warm up about 10 minutes then stall and oil light and oil pressure would be affected by it
