VAN QUITTING WHEN IN IDLE MODE
I have a 1999 plymouth voyager with 86000 miles, automatic transmission 4 cylinder. What my van is doing is when I'm stopped at a stop light it will have a ticking noise or arking noise then it will almost quit or it will quit. I put it in park and it will start back up but if I have to sit there long it will quit again. It don't do it all the time but often. If I put the van into nutruel just before I have to stop it won't do it at all. When I'm driving it runs fine but when I get to about 40 mph it starts to chug or run very rough, when I get to 50 it levels out and runs ok again. Also sometimes when driving along my temp and other guages drop to nothing. It might stay that way for a bit or momentarily.
