1998 Plymouth Voyager rear vent windows

Both of the rear vent windows on my 1998 Plymouth Voyager have stopped working. I can't open them with the controls OR manually. The left stopped working a few months back when during sub-freezing temperatures; it got stuck in the open position and I had to manually shut it. After that it wouldn't operate at all, even manually. The right one stopped working a couple of weeks ago; it had been working properly up until the point that it stopped working completely.

Any ideas on what might be causing the problem, and whether it might be something a non-gearhead could fix?

have you tried testing to see if you have power going to the switch itself? It just might be that the switch needs to be replaced. does it look like this....

I haven't tested it for power, but it didn't seem likely to me that would be the problem since the right window kept working after the left one stopped. The switch looks similar to the one you posted, but not exactly.

It is possible for one to go out or stop working before the other. I would go ahead and check for power into the switch and if you got power into the switch check for power coming out.
