1996 Plymouth Voyager 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

my transmission is bad in my van it needs changed I found another tranny that is out of a 91 new yorker that has the same #'s as my tranny they are both 604's I was wondering will it work in my van?

We never like to cross parts from one to another. However, if the part number is the same and it has all the same sensors, connections, and is basically identical, it should work.
