1997 Plymouth Volare o2 sensor

Engine Performance problem
1997 Plymouth Volare 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles

recently performed diagnostic check and it indicated that an o2 sensor was bad theres also o black ring around the tail pipe .i need to know where exactly the b bank1 sensor 2 is located and how best to remove it a diagram woulld be perfect.i need to get this vehicle to pass smog can just cleaniing this sensor make it work properly again ?thank you for your time.

bank 1 sensor 2
bank one is where cylinder #1
sensor 1 is before the cat...
sensor 2 is after the cat...
what do you have for codes ?
