2000 Plymouth Prowler SMOG

2000 Plymouth Prowler 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 70000 miles
How could i find a problem with the evac system. my car is not passing smog. its not the gas cap. check engine light wont trun off. error is faulty evac not sure of the code.
is there some sort of diagram for this?
