1998 Other Plymouth Models engine turns over but no fire

engine turns over but no fire
okay...1st, my nefuw put a timing light on the engine and he said there's no spark. then friend came over and we replaced the coil pack...no change....then, we hooked clip and wire up to one of the coil pack's metal ends and there was spark...didnt check all four....didnt actually pull out spark plugs and check them...friend insisted that it was unnecessary...fuel pump working...not sure of pressure regulator...no fuel pressure check....found out battery was bad had it replaced....turned over but no fire. sounds like it sort of wants to fire...so I'm thinking it might be the timing. Going to check the timing belt tomorrow. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Hi:
Did you check for spark to the plugs? Also, have you checked fuel pump pressure?

Let me know.
