I have an oil leak right at where the exaust header meets the block. I can see the exaust gasket between the block and header and its wet with oil and a dropp hanging from it. Not very bad but a little wetness of oil. Could it be a valve seat gone bad leaking into the exaust?

Normally if the valve guides or seals were going bad you would notice the vehicle smoking before it would leak. Also if it was leaking oil out of the exhaust manifold gasket you would notice an exhaust leaking sound. By the description I would further investigate the valve cover gasket.
