1993 Plymouth Laser water in gas
Engine Performance problem
1993 Plymouth Laser 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive 85,000 miles
last year i got real bad gas had lots of water in it. I took it to a machanic and he drained it took out the injectors several times till he got it to run good. He had to take it back after about 3 weeks and clean the screen by the fuel pump as it was missing so bad I could barley get 40 mph out of it. He told me that if it happend again that I would have to have the tank taken off and the system flushed. What I want to know is how do I get to the screen and can I clean it when ever it happens and keep doing that till it gets all the gunk out instead of going thru the trouble of taking off the tank?
