I have 99 Plymouth Breeze and it has 144,000 on it. My check engine light came on. I went to autozone, got it tested and it was a gear 1 incorrect ratio. Do I need a transmission?

PO700 "may" be a bad (EATX) Electrononic Automatic Transmission Controller.

PO731 is more complicated and is an intermittant problem. It is usually caused by intermittant hydraulic seal leakage in the clutch and or accumulator circuits.

After doing a little research, it seems that an input shaft speed sensor may solve the problem.
