Noises problem

i had a mechanic do my timing belt three days he said it broke.when i went to pick it up the car cut off right there after he did the timing belt .my cars seems like when i put my foot on the gas pedal the car sounds really loud like a dump truck and but it cuts off cant drive past 5 miles and the steering whee shakes when stops and it wont turn back over to restart unless my foot is compltely down on the gas pedal.my car seems the same before this mechanic replaced the timing 2 days before he did the work
