1989 Plymouth Acclaim Front Wheel Drive Automatic 145000 miles

When running trouble codes I get a 37(torque converter unlock solenoid circuit) and 25( AIS motor circuit). The car seems to run ok with no trouble. How do I check the circuits? Thanks.

Hello and thanks for the donation

The torque converter code 37, it only has a few possible causes. They are stuck/sticky valves, solenoid switch valve faulty, valve body leakage or internal solenoid leak. The most common and probable cause is simply a faulty solenoid.

For the code 25, below are the diagnostic flow charts for it.
