2003 Peugeot 307 interior light

I CAN OPERATE THE INTERIOR LIGHT MANUALLY BUT IT DOES NOT COME ON WHEN THE DOORS ARE OPEN.

Press and hold the button that turns the light on for 5-10 seconds. It should turn on when you open the doors now.
