My park lights stay on after I shut off motor and park. It drained my battery and while recharging I heard a noise in the under hood fuse panel. I pulled out the fuse that was vibrating and the light went out but after placing the fuse back in the park lights refused to go out. So now I can not park the truck without pulling the fuse. Any idea what causing this? Thank you

There is a parking light relay that is stuck on and needs to be replaced. Here is a guide to help you test and confirm the issue.

Here is the location of the relay (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers

I have the same problem with my 2010 Chevy Silverado. I took the PRK Lamp relay fuse out but the front and rear parking lights stayed on. I also disconnected the trailer light harness per the advise of a Chevy forum where another Silverado's tail lights would not shut off.

You need to replace the relay not the fuse. Here is the tail light wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you for the diagrams. I forgot to mention that not only are my running lights on but my head lights also stay on when the vehicle is shut off. I pinpointed through a Chevrolet website that it is the BCM; body control module. Or at least that is what I narrowed down. Thank you for your assistance.

Let's get a new post started for your vehicle because it is a different year and model. Your vehicle does not have this same relay so you either have a switch issue, or a short to power in the wiring. However, we need to start a new post so that when others that have the same issue on your vehicle they can find the solution. They won't find it under this year and model vehicle.

Thanks
