Dash lights and radio go off, gauges stop working and power steering goes out. Does this randomly and sometimes stays off. Replaced alternator and battery, but still does it.

Hello,

This sounds to me like you have a loose or corroded wire to your battery. Double check the ground wires and their connections. Make sure that they are clean, corrosion free, tight and with good metal to metal contact. 75% of all electrical problems on a vehicle can be associated with bad grounds. Also is your Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) AKA, "check engine light" illuminated? If so can you pull the Direct Trouble Code(s)(DTC)(s) for me. If you are unfamiliar with how to do that I have included a link for you down below:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Please go through the guide if you need to and get back to us with what you find out. What we are going to be looking for is a loss of communication is the High Speed Connector Area Network (HSCAN). I have included for you in the diagrams down below a description of your vehicle's power steering including a diagram of the battery relay box.

Thanks,
Alex

Sounds like possibly a network fault. I could explain the system but a couple of quick things to check that I have personally found is to disconnect the power steering connectors on the rack and check for water intrusion, also all of the connectors near the back bumper for water and corrosion. Also some F-150's had LED tail lights that had network wiring in them that would get shorted when the taillights got full of water.
