1998 Opel Other Repair Question

1998 Other Opel Models UNSTALE REV/MIN
The rev/min of my car is unstable, both when idling and when I try to maintain a constant rev/min of say 2500 rev/min (whiles the vehicle is stationary)

have the vehicle plugged into a diagnostic computer to locate the cause of the fault !!
