1997 Opel Astra Repair Question

1997 Opel Astra Problem while braking
My car opel astra 1.7td diesel has a problem. I get good brake in 1st,2nd & reverse gear. but in 3rd 4th & 5th I have real braking problem. Kindly advise whether I have to go for a brake booster change or a vaccum pump repair or change.

Please be more specific to that!!!!
You have ABS or not?
As for do it yourdelf repair i would suggest to be adviced with opel repair software or autodata with 135 euros each
