Both Rear break lights and backup lights are not working but the middle break light the one on the top of rear gate is working.

I checked all fuses and did not find any of them burnt out. Also on the front dash when I start up the car both turnsignals flashers are solid like the emergency flashers are on but not blinking.

Only fuses I did not check or know how to check is the 5 larges ones on the left hand side of the fuse box but according the manual they are not related to the rear end brake lights.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated

Do the turn signals work? Front or rear and if so do they blink fast or normal or not at all. If the 3rd brake light is working the brake switch is ok, but the brake and turn signal share the same bulb, so a bad turn signal switch can cause brake light issues. Have you checked all the bulbs in the rear of the vehicle? Those sockets where the bulbs plug in can melt over time causing grounding issues which wil also do what you describe. Also check bulbs for back-up lights, they may be bad. Did you check all th efuses with atest light to be sure they have power on both sides? All fuses? Both in interior fuse panel and underhood panels?
