Gentleman,

Air bag light on most of the time with overhead console lights and compass/temp indicator not working. When air bag light is out, everything in the overhead console works. Also, when I step on brake, both turn signal arrows light up in cluster. If I turn on left turn signal, it blinks normal. If I turn on right turn signal, it blinks rapidly. Out back, the LH rear lights appear to act normally. The RH brake light comes on very dim, the LH is bright. RH rear turn signal blinks dimly and alternates with backup light very rapidly. I've had problems with the the LH rear before and replacing bulbs solved the problem. Replaced all the bulbs on the RH rear with no change. Front parking and turn signal lights appear to work normally. These problems have been going on for 2 years. Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Regards,

Bob Lane

Check the wiring loom is on the passenger side of this vehicle and runs along the sill of the door under the trim. It goes in 2 directions after it comes out of the bulkhead connector. They can burn up from the wear and tear of people getting in and out of the vehicle.

Typically more problem exist with this but is a place to check.

Be sure the bulbs in the Right side are not reversed. The is a lower and higher tit on the bulbs and will cause a ground problem if installed backwards.
