I have a 1996 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme SL with 109,000 miles. Recently, I have had a problem making tight turns. Almost like there is no power steering. Before I go to the expense of a power steering unit, could I just be low on fluid? And how do I do this?

i would just go under the hood and look for the cap that says power steering fluid and check that dipstick if its full. does it feel like there is any power steering? if not then your power steering pump is probably shot.
