Delta 88 stalls when cold

I have a 1988 Olds Delta 88 with a 3800 V-6, and 107,000 miles. The car runs fine when it is warmed up, but when it is cold it stalls. I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it from staling. If I do get it to move it acts very sluggish, like there is a miss. I was told it was the mass air flow sensor, but I replaced it and it still does it. I have changed the spark plugs. A mechanic did tell me that there was low compression on #6 cylinder. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Low compression on one cylinder can make it stall cold. Have a comp test done on the whole engine to see if there are any other low ones.Cant tune up an engine that isnt mechanically sound
