1998 Other Oldsmobile Models 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

When I try to start the car it won't crank, but if I cross it over at the starter it will crank. Can you tell me what to do.

If you don't have a remote start that is messing with you, you should check the neutral start switch. Its pretty mechanical untill the engine starts and the computer takes over.
