1994 Other Oldsmobile Models Car will not run

I have a 1994 Olds Achieva i bought I drove it about 100 miles and it quit running and would not start.
I Had no fire or fuel pump running I replaced the electrical ignition switch and now the car will start up and run for about 1.5 seconds and die do you have any suggestions?
