OLDS CUTLASS SUPREME PROBLEM
1994 Oldsmobile Other
I have a '94 olds cutlass supreme w/ a 3.1 L engine...140,000 miles. Problem is the engine shut off while going down the road. The engine will turn over and is firing but doesn't sputter or anything unless given a shot of starting fluid etc. Fuel psi is about 46psi at the rail check port. Now after pulling most of my hair out, I took a test light and stuck it into the two wires going to "one" of the fuel injectors... turned the ignition on, and tried starting the engine. The test light did not shine. I then unplugged the wiring harness going to the injectors, tested the plugs the same way and still nothing. What is the problem? Can you tell me what to do next? Fire!!! Gas & matches!!! What??? Please help! I work out of town and have to be gone from home. My time at home to work on this car is very limited for me and any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
