1993 Other Oldsmobile Models Automatic 96540 miles

I have a 1993 Olds Silhouette 3.8 that when you drive it 30 mins. Or more and shut it off it will not restart for at least a half hour sometimes even longer. Sounds thermal but can not figure it out.
Please help. Thought it was the after market starter that was on it and had it removed. The vehicle still does this. Also had the spark plugs and wires replaced.

Sounds like the oxygen sensor to me, I had the same problem. Try spraying fast start in the air filter then trying to start. If it works thats probably the problem. Not a hard thing to have fixed but cost me about 100 at the mechanics. Good luck!
