1983 Other Oldsmobile Models wont start

I started my car this morning went to the store put gas in my car afterwards it would not start.turns over and it is getting fuel was just wonderibg if the distributor would prevent it from starting

Welcome to the forum, check for spark at the plugs, engine cranking. If your computer controled, check for trouble codes.
