5-10 mpg?!?!
Engine Performance problem
2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 105K miles
My Intrigue which I've had for about a month and with in the past two weeks my gas mileage has gotten horrible. I'm a delivery driver attending school and drove 30 miles today, it took a quarter of my gas tank.
The car seems to run pretty good, no smells, normal RPM but when I accelerate sometimes it feels really slugish.
An answer would be very appreciated, I don't know how much longer I will be able to afford to drive, which just so happens to be my job.
Thanks

Has the check engine light come on? Also, have you checked to see if the catalytic converter is plugging? Is there a loss of power?
