2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue
Electrical problem
2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 245000 miles
I just purchased my 2000 Intrigue and there are a few issues. One that started yesterday is as follows. The signal lights and hazard lights don't always work. They will simply stop functioning entirely and the come back. The second issue that I believe is related is the instrument panel, heater fan and headlights. At idle as well as when the car is running the will all seem to lose power and regain it. The fan will blow slower the lights will dim and the instrument panel will dim also. The engine seems unaffected.
Any thoughts as to where I can look?

Have you checked body grounds? It sounds like there may be a problem with a rusted or broken ground. Start there and let me know what you find.
