The "service engine soon "light comes on followed by a severe drop in speed and the car jerks when I try to give it more gas. This car has been in the repair shop ever since I bought it 3 months ago and no one can fix it but this car is going to kill me due to the severe drop in speed on the highway. I have replaced the TCC solenoid, had the tranny rebuilt, and the ignition lock cylinder replaced. I have had the fuel pump and filter checked and the relay switch for the blinkers replace. The first sign that this is going to happen is that the blinkers start flashing like a bulb is burnt out and it happens every time I put gas in the car within 20 miles. Help?

What you need to do is have the computer scanned for code/s-you have a problem within the engine management system that caused the CEL to turn on-This is your starting point of diagnosis, finding out what's going on.

I have had this car put on the diagnostic machine several times to see what the computer says is wrong with it. It says nothing is wrong with the car. No codes come up to diagnos this problem. The mechanics that have had my car for 2 months now just shake thier heads and if I hear the words "This is just wierd" one more time I am going to hurt someone! Please help me. I am sorry I cannot make a donation at this time but I am so broke from trying to fix this car and am now $2,000 in debt to the mechanics that are trying desperately to fix this problem. I have now had the diagnostic machine do it's thing 3 times @ $100 a shot. Just to get no answer. Please. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be? Thank you. Jill
