Engine Performance problem
1993 Oldsmobile Cutlass 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual

Have problem with car staying running. I have replaced battery, altanator, starter, and battery. I can drive the car for about a min, but as soon as I put it in reverse it dies out and takes about 15 mins to restart.

With the restart, have helper crank, while you visually check for spark at the plugs. You can use a known good spark plug or spark tester, don't pull a spark plug. If you have spark everywhere, use a gage and check fuel pressure. Some of the national brand autostores used to loan out a fuel pressure gage. Also, any applicable mil codes?
