1991 Oldsmobile Cutlass Fuel Pump Hummmmmmm

My mechanic has replaced the fuel pump because of an awful hum. I still have the hum. It is very annoying. Have you a solution to the problem?

Pumps a generaly loud when they are replaced because the aftermarket pumps arnt the best ones out there. You could try having the tank dropped and wraped in insulation to cut down on the sound.
