1989 Oldsmobile Cutlass fuel injector

When I turn on the key, excessive fuel flows into the air intake. Flooding it and causing it to backfire. Fuel flows continuously into the air intake.

Sounds like an O ring problem. Sounds like the O-ring is broken or missing. Perhaps you could try to get ASE O-rings at a carb shop and replace those carefully.

Afterwards Maybe check the charcoal canister for excessive gas that may have been sucked through. That may need to be replaced.
