Car is 89 Olds with W 2.8 engine. Car had to climb a short very steep drive and quit on top. Would not start again and had to be towed. Checked fuel system from tank to fuel at injectors and is fine. There is spark at the plugs. Also replaced crankcase locator sensor which had small cracks with one, supposedly an improved Delco that is longer then the old. Car still fails to start. The car has a bad history of eating computers, two of them being replaced by the dealer under warranty at 33K miles and 48K. The last one I replaced with an autoshop version which gave improved performance. I don't have access to code readers and have tried the old fashion fuel and ignition approach since I am a backyard mechanic. All the other functions are working like digital dash and lights. Would appreciate any help.
