1995 Oldsmobile Ciera Defroster blows hot air, but doesn't

1995 Oldsmobile Ciera 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 150,00 miles
My defroster (or defogger) seems to operate fine, warm air blows on the windshield. The fan works at all speeds. There is no mist or sweet smell in the car from a leaking heater core. Everything appears to work, but on a cold morning all the windows in the car fog up. The defroster barely helps at all, even with the fan on high. Any suggestions? I live in Michigan and I'll be needing an operable defogger for the next several months. Thank you for any help.
