1988 Oldsmobile Ciera engine cuting off
Engine Performance problem
1988 Oldsmobile Ciera 6 cyl Four Wheel Drive Automatic 250000 miles
After driving for a few miles not more than 5 miles the car will cut off and when stated back up it will only stay on in park and neutral and will not run until the engine has cooled back off. Needing some support on what I should do to resolve this issue please.

To resolve the problem we will need the code to go after. Do you have engine light on?
or no light?
the code will lead oss to the system at fault.
