About 1 week ago I went to back out of the driveway and my car started and the died out .So I put it back in park and turned the key to the off position .Once again I go to start my car only this time as I turn my key it makes one good click sound, it didn't even begin to crank at all and for some reason I hear the tailgate latch release completly on its own. So although the radio/headlights don't seem dim or anything I put the battery on the charger to make sure . The next day I hook back up the battery to the vehicle try to start it again that one good click sound .yesterday i take my starter in to get checked the guy at auto zone checks it and he tells me its no good. I get the new starter and install it onto the vehicle and still the same thing. I even have a friend let me try to start it with their battery out of their working vehicle and nothing. I dont Know much about cars so I would really appreciate any help in the right direction even.Again Thank you
