1996 Oldsmobile Aurora rear end sways badly
Suspension problem
1996 Oldsmobile Aurora V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 42000 miles
whenever going over bumps. at higher speeds of about 75 mph, this can be very disconcerting, if not downright dangerous.
i have just purchased the car and the mileage is correct. i am only the second owner of this vehicle. i also owned a 1995 and 1999 Aurora prior to this and never experienced this problem. do i need new shocks in the rear or something entirely unrelated.
thank you.

I would start by having them checked. Also, make sure the alignment is correct.
