2002 Oldsmobile Alero starter replacement procedure?

2002 Oldsmobile Alero 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

what is the procedure for replacing the starter? what has to be done 1st,2nd,3rd, ect. im stuck.

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Raise and support the vehicle.
Disconnect the electrical connectors (3, 4) from the starter.

Remove the starter bolts.
Remove the starter.
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

Install the starter. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.
Install the starter bolts. Tighten Tighten the starter bolts to 40 N.m (30 lb ft) .

Connect the electrical connectors (3, 4) to the starter. Tighten Tighten the battery terminal nut to 17 N.m (13 lb ft) .
Lower the vehicle.
Connect the negative battery cable.

is there anything other than what youve mentioned i need to remove , do i need to come in from the wheel well to get to these bolts? i have the top bolt half way out , but the ratchet doesnt have room to extract the bolt all the way...do i need to take off the exhaust manifold ect.?... im still stuck
