1996 Oldsmobile 98 1996 Olds 98 Regency wont start

we put a new alternator in it about 3 days ago ran fine the past couple of days then turned car off and tried turning it over no clicking sound at all I have dash lights and headlights I have 2 keys to start the car same type of key the one key causes the security light to flash the other doesnt the battery is new the alternator is new and the starter is getting power so I dunno I pulled up a RECALL on my car having to do with the MALL Module that may contain a damaged capacitor

If the one key doesn't turn the security light on, use it. Are you sure the starter is getting power? Is it working? According to what you said, you hear nothing when you turn the key and the starter is getting power. If that is the case, the starter is bad.
