1991 Oldsmobile 98 No power to fuel pump

I checked power at the relay and have power at contact #1 (switchable power from fuse thru relay to pump) but no power from the ecu to pin #5 (the power the throws the switch in the relay to close the circuit). All the contacts appear ok. The car cranks and has spark. Thanks.

Sounds like the computer controlled circuit of the fuel pump relay is defective

Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. I'm going to check the remaining inputs to the ECU tomorrow and the wiring/contacts for that circuit.

Thanks for your help. Working on Audis, VWs and Porsches all day has made my brain soft on American cars.
