1995 Oldsmobile 88 engine not running smooth
Engine Mechanical problem
1995 Oldsmobile 88 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160000 miles
the engine on my olds 88 LSS seems to struggle a bit. I changed the spark plugs(put in factory recommended)spark wires. I had a new gas filter installed. Engine doesn't run smooth in idle. Car gets great gas mileage and has get up and go on the expressway. Did I miss something?

Clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens also check below items
Engine running rough or misfiring can be cause by the following:
1.Defective spark plug.
2.Inadequate spark/coil,defective spark plug wire.
3.Lack of compression
4.False air leakage.
5.Faulty fuel injectors.
6.Insufficient fuel pressure.
7.Contaminated fuel.
8.EGR valve that is leaking.
9.Oxygen sensors.
