Thank you for the information. I have 3.9 liter motor in the picture shows the 3.5 liter. On my motor there is a heat shield where it would appear that the oil filter would be in the illustration. Do I have to remove the heat shield to get at the oil sensor? Is there anything beyond that I need to beware of?

Thank you get your help

Can you email me an accurate diagram of the oil pressure sensor location on a 2007 chevrolet impala with the 3.9L engine or, at least provide some direction on how to locate? Some illustrations show it on the right side of the top manifold other info I've gotten says it could be located at the bottom of the engine near the oil filter.
