I have put an inline pump and a new gas tank in a 88 2.8l grand prix that I am building. It has plenty of pressure at the fuel rail. It has spark at all the plugs and I have no idea why I won't start. It just turns over and never fires

GIVE IT A 2 SECOND BURST OF STARTER FLUID INTO THE THROTTLE BODY, THEN ATTEMPT A START

IF IT REALLY SPITS/ SPUTTERS/ "TRIES" TO BUST OFF (TILL THE FLUID IS BURNED OFF), YOU PROBABLY HAVE A FUEL PROBLEM (MAYBE INJECTORS OR INJECTOR RELATED?)

IF YOU SORTA GET NUTHIN'

MAYBE YOU KINDA INSTALLED THE DISTRIBUTOR WRONG?

IT'S FIRING BUT AT THE WRONG TIME

I MIGHT CAN AID YOU IN CORRECT INSTALLATION, IF YOU THINK THIS IS THE ISSUE

YOUR TURN
