1997 Nissan Skyline Jerky Engine

1997 Nissan Skyline 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Got a R33 skyline with RB20 engine which has been giving me some problems recently. It all started when i switched on the a/c and on doing so i heard a clank sound and felt like the engine is driving more heavy. Situation didnt change even after switching the a/c. The next day the car started to be a little jerky when accelerating and drove heavy. It kina switched between heavy and normal randomly. Have got the car serviced after that and changed fuel filter, oil filter, air filter and spark plugs. Changing the spark plugs seem to take away the heavy driving experience but the engine still is jerky. Especially when the car is on halt and the transmission is still on D or R.
Appreciate any insight into this which can help me resolve the issue.
