I have a 95 Nissan Sentra GXE with a 122,000 Mile I bought the car used about a year ago and have had no problem with the brakes until know. I noticed that my tail lights were on so I got in the car and moved it moments later it shut off. The next morning when I got up the tail lights were on again and it had burned out my battery. I checked to see if my emergency brake was up and it was not and my light in the car was off as well. My brake light on the dash has not been coming on. Can you tell if its a blown fuse and how it can be fixed.

Its the brake switch on the brake pedal bracket-It needs adjustment-just loosen the adjusting screw and reposition it. When you step on the brake the plunger should fully extent and when let go-it depresses it back to its retract position.

This is a common problem on this rice rocket-I do it all the time.
