Noise in the front wheels

I drive a 1.6 Nissan sentra, sedan, 1997 model and it has covered 118543km. lately i have been hearing a funny noise in the wheels when i apply brakes. This only happens when travelling at higher speeds. That noise comes with some vibration in the steering but as soon as i release the brake pedal the noise disappears. I replaced brake pads and disks but that did not help. What could that be!? How would i know when the inner CV joints are wearing out? I would be thankful if you can help me.

Maybe the new rotor/disc's has a manufacturers defect. It's always a good advise to rough surface it before you install it. Try miking it and use a dial indicator to see where you at
